Chromium for diabetes

Can I substitute chromium for my diabetic medications?

No you can’t. if you do, you first need a psychiatric exam or a new doctor who needs to educate you about diabetes. Chromium is not a replacement for insulin or any diabetic drug. Chromium can be taken as a supplement but overall it affects on blood sugars are mild. If you muck around with diabetes with bullcrap like chromium, you will end up blind, deaf and have no legs. No chromium supplement has been approved by the FDA as a replacement for insulin or any other diabetic drug.

I did research on chromium during my graduate school days and can tell you for a fact- it is nothing more than PISS. You will not find one individual in America with chromium deficiency and the amounts required for daily intake are miniscule. You definitely do not need to take this supplement.
