I have been told I have restless leg syndrome. Are there any over the
counter medications for the disorder?
No, this disorder needs to be looked after by a neurologist- most family
doctors have no clue about the disorder. Some of the drugs used to treat Parkinson
disease are used to treat restless leg syndrome. Sometimes you may require pain
pill and muscle relaxants. It is not an easy disorder to treat. My best advice
is get a referral to a neurologist.
