Can a female use Viagra to enhance libido?

While Viagra-like drugs may help the 20 percent of women reported to have difficulties with lubrication, it is not known if the drug can help women who have no interest in sex in women in whom sex provides little pleasure. Overall, doctors who prescribe Viagra to women claim that the both partners appear happier and sexually satisfied.

One particular study objectively evaluated the effects on Viagra by allowing women to watch erotic movies and using a vibrator after taking a dose of Viagra. Needless to say, all the women in the study went wild, including the investigator- again proof that Viagra is good stuff.

However there are some who suggest that increasing blood flow to the clitoris is just one aspect of sexual satisfaction. These investigators believe that other more important causes of sexual dysfunction are poor sexual technique and knowledge, lack of foreplay, poor self image and that this cannot be improved by Viagra. And in such cases, prescribing Viagra is just a waste money. 
However, women who have been surveyed indicate that it is better to have a wet than a dry vagina. It also saves one from carrying a whole bag of Vaseline in his pocket or her purse.
