Kidney stones and diet

If I have kidney stone made from calcium, does that mean I should not eat any calcium containing foods?

In general the amount of calcium you eat in your diet is too little to make any difference. Unless you consume 100 gms of calcium every day, you can eat whatever you want and it will make no difference to the stones. It is the rare individual who needs to stop taking calcium if he/she has calcium stones. And even if you wanted to stop taking calcium it would be impossible. Almost every food contains calcium. The most important thing to know when you have any type of kidney stone is to increase your fluid intake. You will also need potent pain killers as kidney stones can make most humans cry like a baby.
