E-cigarettes

What the devil are electronic cigarettes? Part 2

The manufacturers as always say YES, but there do not have any scientific data to back up their claims. There is not a single study which has proven that e-cigarettes are of any benefit.

Moreover, the FDA has yet to approve these products as
smoking cessation devices. No one except the industry knows what exactly is in these cigarettes or the type of chemicals. Additionally, a few cigarettes have been analyzed by the FDA and two very popular brands have been found to contain harmful chemicals. This has prompted the FDA to warn all consumers about the use of e-cigarettes.

Until we know more about it, the best way to quit smoking is cold turkey. E-cigarettes are not deemed safe and are just another substitute for nicotine addiction.
Nicotine addiction is a complex affair and no one knows what is the best method to overcome this addiction. Every single drug, paste, lotion or potion on the market sold to help you discontinue smoking is JUNK.

And the cost of e-cigarette is not miniscule.

The costs vary from $60-$120/month and there is a bunch of accessories to buy. Remember anything that is electronic is also prone to failure. There is no savings with e-cigarettes and there is no proof that they will help you quit smoking. So if you are a smoker, be smart and avoid scams.
