Concerta for ADHD

Is concerta a safe dug for ADHD?

Methylphenidate or concerta is not a new drug and been around for over 60 years. Besides ADHA, it has been approved for treatment of narcolepsy and in certain patients with low blood pressure. The drugs effectiveness’ for ADHA is now being questioned because some of the doctors involved in the past clinical trials were paid by the manufacturer and it appears these f..kers fudged the scientific data and made up all positive things. Recent studies indicate that the drug does not promote academic achievement and improved learning.

Similarly, the dose for treatment is quite variable ranging from 5-36 mg per day. My best advice is to speak to your doctor and read about the drug. If concerta has not worked in a few months, I would dump it.
