Does Penlac work for fungal infection of the nail?

Ciclopirox (Penlac) is another alternative anti fungal medication; it can be applied as a nail polish on the nail. The nails have to be painted once a day for 7 days. At the end of the week, the nails are cleaned and the painting regimen is continued for several months. Most people need to apply this medication for at least 12 months before the infection can be cleared. However, a significant majority of people have no response to Penlac. My opinion is that Penlac is a complete waste of money. Even after several years of using this BS medication, you may see no response.

There are many other topical ointments and lotions available over the internet and health food stores. In each and every single case, there is no scientific evidence that these topical lotions and herbs work. They are best avoided.
