I have celiac disease and want to travel abroad. Are there gluten free products sold in other countries?

Well, it depends where you go. In Europe and most developed countries, you will be fine. However, if you go to a holiday resort in Mexico, you will be out of luck. Gluten free products are difficult to come by outside of North America. It is impossible to take all the food that you need from here when you are flying.

Best advice, call the place, and see what they say. My feeling from my travels is that in many countries, people with celiac disease suffer because doctors remain clueless about the disorder. And most countries make no provisions for these patients.
