I have recently been prescribed Kazano for my
type 2 diabetes. Is it really more effective than metformin?
In the last decade, many drug combinations have
been developed for treatment of type 2 diabetes. Most of the combinations
include metformin and the gliptin agents. You have to remember, while the
combination is effective, it is also prohibitively expensive. Kazano is a
combination of metformin and alogliptin.
My best advice is to use metformin alone and see
what happens to your blood glucose. Exercise and cut your weight down. If you
can control your blood glucose with metformin alone, screw combination therapy.
These drugs are a rip off-the only people who benefit are the doctors and the manufacturers.
Metformin is still the best anti-diabetic drug
on the market. So start walking and watch your weight-this way you will control
your blood sugars and save your money from these outrageously expensive rip off
combos.
